Is DeoxIT® GOLD the proper choice for improving connector integrity on processor memory boards?

The following are recommendations based on your specific criteria:

MEMORY BOARD CARRIER SURFACE:
1. Apply DeoxIT® GOLD pen to:
A. Male edge connector.
B. Socket(s) .
2. Apply DeoxIT® GOLD spray to:
A. Main (female) connector.

PROCESSOR:
1. Apply DeoxIT® GOLD spray to:
A. Female HSC type connector
B. 2-prong sockets

MID-PLANE BOARD:
1. Apply DeoxIT® GOLD pen to:
A. Male HSC type connector
2. Apply DeoxIT® GOLD spray to:
A. All other connectors on board (i.e., 96 pin connector & 3 large strip sockets) using a template made out of cardboard or plastic to prevent inadvertent over-spray to other populated areas on board surface. If a template is not avalable, apply product carefully contact area.

Processor-To-PCB:
1. Apply DeoxIT® GOLD spray to:
A. MPI connector surface.
B. MPI socket surface.
