Prevent arcing and burning through bus bars?

We have had some problem here in the Houston heat and humidity with the interface between breakers and the buss bars arcing, and ultimately burning through the buss. Would any of your products when sprayed on the contact area help preserve the integrity of the contact?
This area is protected, but is exposed to humidity and temperature of the outside.

Thank you for your question.
Absolutely, our DeoxIT Contact Cleaner/Rejuvenator will work perfectly for this application.  Exactly what is designed to do.
Not only is it the humidity that causes the arcing, the metals are oxidizing and the current is actively trying to break through the oxidation.
The DeoxIT (D5S-6 or DN5S-6N) will dissolve the oxidation (without removing metal from the surface) and it will protect the surface from future oxidation.
If it is a high current buss bar (100 amps or more), you may also consider using our DeoxIT Greases (L260).
