Pager Repair - DeoxIT®, GOTTA LOVE THIS STUFF!

I have a Panasonic pager and every once in a while it would just shut off for no reason, then turn itself back on. I could tell it was losing total power because the clock would be at the time it it was when it shut off, sometimes up to an hour.

I got some DeoxIT® and DeoxIT®GOLD pens from RadioShack and cleaned ALL the connections inside the pager and in the battery compartment. A couple of months have passed, and I have had no problems at all.
