Samsung Cell Phone Repair

I am a resident of Hawaii; it’s a wonderful place to live, but the environment completely wreaks havoc on all moving objects. I own a Samsung cellular phone, and the display stopped showing any text or graphics about two months ago.

The insert on the DeoxIT® I purchased, claimed that it works on cellular phones/batteries. I figured it couldn't hurt to get a little extra power to my phone, so I proceeded to clean all the contacts on the battery, the phone and the charger. Basically, wherever there would be any electrical conductivity.

I worked the battery in and out of my phone a few times and waited the recommended two minutes, then cleaned any oxidization, dirt, grease and grime that may have been on the metals. Then I used the DeoxIT® GOLD pen I purchased at the same time, and left a light film on the contacts. I repeated the process on the charger, and reassembled the phone.

Two days later, I remembered I hadn’t charged the phone, and when I plugged it in, to my amazement, I saw the word "CHARGING" on the phone display! I had no idea there would be any solution for the display problem short of purchasing a new phone. I hadn’t even considered that DeoxIT® and DeoxIT® GOLD could have any affect whatsoever on the display function. CAIG products saved me a lot of money and my phone is working just like new!

I want to thank you all for resolving what seemed like an endless search for the perfect maintenance chemical line for all the items that I work, play and live with on a daily basis.
