Specific Gravity vs Density

On the MSDS it states "density" and "specific gravity." What is the difference?

If you are referencing liquid, it would be calculated by by 'specific gravity.' A solid (grease), on the other hand, would be calculated by 'density.'

The category should state 'Density/Specific Gravity.'
