Branding/Transition Information

DeoxIT® has gained worldwide recognition as the best solution for fixing electrical connections. To maximize this brand recognition, we will be restructuring our product line by incorporating the DeoxIT® brand on other CAIG products, as well.

The CAIG GUARANTEE:

PLEASE BE ADVISED, if you currently have product with ProGold, CaiLube MCL, PreservIT or CaiLube Grease printed on the label, the ONLY thing that has changed in the past few months is the name. The integrity of the product remains the same, and NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE FORMULATION.

The part numbers for the DeoxIT® and ProGold products you have purchased in the past will continue to remain the same.
The PreservIT and CaiLube MCL part numbers WILL change.

The new product names will be as follows:

• DeoxIT® will remain the same - Contact Cleaner & Rejuvenator, Bring Old Systems Back to Life!
• ProGold will change to DeoxIT® GOLD - Contact Conditioner & Protector, Maintain New System Performance!
• PreservIT will change to DeoxIT® SHIELD - Contact Protector, Maintain New System Performance for Severe Environments!
• CaiLube M260 and L260 Greases will change to DeoxIT® M260 and L260 Greases
• CaiLube MCL will change to DeoxIT® FaderLube.
• CaiLube MCL Greases will change to DeoxIT® Fader Grease.

Changes will take place on the containers and packaging over the next several months. The formulations and packaging will be separated into two categories, consumer and industrial grades. Consumers will be directed to the consumer friendly applicators and packaging, the industrial customers will be directed to the industrial formulations, applicators and packaging.

We will continue to update you on what’s taking place at CAIG, and we are certain the transformation will be positive for everyone! We thank you for the loyalty and support for our product line over the past 50 years, and hope that you continue to think of us when product quality is your priority!
