TIP OF THE DAY: Security Panel

TIP OF THE DAY:
Annoying low battery indication on security panel . . .

Our fire/security alarm panel was giving us a low power indication for our batteries. We replaced the batteries and still could not disable the alarm. We sprayed the battery terminals with DeoxIT® and now it works perfectly. I suspect the dirty terminals were preventing the battery from charging.
