Cat Urine on A/C Prongs
Which one of your products can be used to clean the prongs on a/c cords? They were plugged into a surge protector, and a cat urinated on the surge protector, blowing the fuse.
All components are OK, but I have scorched prongs on the a/c plugs, and they smell. I already have CaiKleen™ 41, DeoxIT® (D5 & D100L), and DeoxIT® SHIELD (S100L). Can I use any of these or do you recommend something else?
Thanks,

Our recommendation would be the following:
1. Turn the system off and disconnect from power source.
2. Make a solution of 5% ammonia and 95% distilled water, and wipe as much contamination from the surface area as possible, with a lint-free cloth.
3. Wait a couple of days to insure that everything is dry, then spray any connections or metal surfaces with DeoxIT®, and that resolve the issue.
NOTE: DeoxIT® GOLD (formerly ProGold) DeoxIT® SHIELD (formerly PreservIT) DeoxIT® FaderLube (formerly CaiLube MCL) DeoxIT® Grease Type M260 & L260 Paste (formerly CaiLube Grease).
