Counterfeit DeoxIT® Product
Good day,
I found this website selling their in-house product containing oleic acid that's described as having the same "ingredients" as DeoxIT® for less.
http://www.dialcover.com/components.html
I find this hard to believe since I have been a faithful DeoxIT® user for years.
Best regards,

Thank you for giving us a heads up on the article featured in the above referenced link. CAIG is committed to insuring product compatibility with new and existing materials and products. To accomplish this, we invest considerable resources and time working with numerous companies in many industries to insure that our products perform exactly as promised. To alleviate confusion, we would like prospective users of our products to be aware of the following:
1. At low temperatures, oleic acid thickens and hardens even at 32 degrees F, for example, resulting in impeded or interrupted signals.
2. At high temperatures, oleic will varnish and become gummy over time.
3. Depending on what type of oleic acid is used, it will, over time, attack and crack plastics.
Thank you for allowing us to dispel any potential confusion about counterfeit product.
