DeoxIT® Grease - High Current & Low Voltage Applications

I would like to start using the DeoxIT® Grease with copper particles to eliminate routine cleaning and arcing in a high current/low voltage application.

There are multiple sets of contact shoes hitting "charging plates" repeatedly. The charge plates are hit every 50-60 seconds by a set of heavily spring loaded shoes for 10-12 hours/day. The location is outdoors and gets wet with rain and/or routine hose downs. I am hoping you can offer a guess as to the frequency of application we should expect.
.....

Make sure the contact surface is clean, then treat the area with DeoxIT® contact cleaner. Apply DeoxIT® SHIELD next, and finish with DeoxIT® Grease with copper particles.

With repeated exposure to the elements and daily washing, the DeoxIT® Grease will eventually move away, so the application of the DeoxIT® SHIELD is a good idea.

We can't provide a guesstimate of length of efficacy, but this approach will last far longer than whatever you're presently using.

Although the products come in a variety of versions, the 5% aerosol spray DeoxIT® and DeoxIT® SHIELD would be best for your situation.
