Circuit Board Connections in a Hostile Environment

What do you recommend for cleaning and protecting circuit board connections in equipment exposed to strong acids and bases in the atmosphere, as well as solvents?
....
Your circuit boards are exposed to an abnormally hostile environment, therefore, the recommendation would be to treat the contacts and connectors initially with DeoxIT® then with DeoxIT® SHIELD.

STEP ONE:
Apply DeoxIT®, in the pen version (D100P) to the contact surface. It sounds as though the surface is heavily oxidized, so leave the DeoxIT® on overnight, if possible. The next morning, remove the contaminants lifted by the DeoxIT® AND any excess DeoxIT®, with a lint-free swab. Always remember to wipe off any excess with a clean lint-free cloth.

STEP TWO:
Apply DeoxIT® SHIELD in the pen version (S100P) to the contact surface. This will seal, lubricate and preserve the circuit board connections against oxidation and contamination. DeoxIT® SHIELD is used where high degrees of moisture or pollution (sulfur, salts, acids, etc.) are present. DeoxIT® SHIELD has 0% cleaning action.

Although this treatment should work fairly well, you will still have to establish a scheduled maintenance routine. The DeoxIT® SHIELD, however, should extend the time between each maintenance.
