When do I use 100% vs. 5% solutions of DeoxIT®, DeoxIT® GOLD, DeoxIT® SHIELD & DeoxIT® FaderLube?

Use the 5% spray or liquid to apply a thin layer of DeoxIT®, DeoxIT® GOLD, DeoxIT® SHIELD, and DeoxIT® FaderLube.

Only a small amount is required on the surface for maximum performance, and the 5% solutions will insure that only the right amount remains on the surface. The solvent also assists in flushing away loose dust, dirt, grease and other contamination.

For extra lubrication, use the 100% concentrate, making sure to wipe off the excess. Some customers may prefer the 100% solutions for shipping worldwide without restrictions.

Service Technicians may also carry them in their toolcase without difficulty. When applying, always remember to wipe off excess with a clean, lint-free cloth.
