Difference Between 5% & 100% Solutions

CAIG recommends applying a thin coating of DeoxIT®, DeoxIT® GOLD, DeoxIT® SHIELD or DeoxIT® FaderLube spray or liquid in the 5% version. Only a small amount is required on the surface for maximum performance, and the 5% solutions insure that only a microscopic amount remains on the surface. The solvent also assists in flushing away loose dust, dirt, grease and other contamination.

For extra lubrication, use the 100% concentrate versions. These solutions are preferred for ease of shipping worldwide without restrictions; and by Service Technicians who wish to carry them in their tool cases without difficulty. When applying 100% versions, always remember to wipe off the excess with a clean lint-free cloth."

NOTE:
DeoxIT® GOLD (formerly ProGold)
DeoxIT® SHIELD (formerly PreservIT)
DeoxIT® FaderLube (formerly CaiLube MCL)
DeoxIT® Grease Type M260 & L260 Paste (formerly CaiLube Grease).
